I went to the pharmacy today and experienced a very uncomfortable situation. Just as I was talking to the pharmacist and asking for the pill for the next day, my neighbor from the apartment came out. I was so tense that I didn’t even know what to say. You should have seen the look on their face; they literally scanned me from head to toe. Do you think I’m just exaggerating in my head, or does everyone really talk?
The thing I dislike the most about the issue of privacy is how everyone acts like they are comfortable and leaves the responsibility to the other party. If you are ashamed, then be ashamed, but don’t skip over the parts about protection/doctor/consent.
