This morning before going to work, I wanted to stop by the pharmacy to renew my birth control pills. When I entered the pharmacy and showed the product from the shelf, I noticed that Sevda Aunt from the neighborhood was right behind me! The woman was literally devouring the box with her eyes, then turned to the pharmacist and said, “Wow, young people are so relaxed now, we didn’t have things like this back in the day,” and so on. I was so embarrassed that I couldn’t even respond. Now, isn’t she going to tell everyone in the neighborhood? Do you think I’m justified in feeling uncomfortable?
