My ex is still watching, despite being blocked

Guys, it’s been 6 months since I broke up with my ex. But she still follows my social media accounts and looks at my stories. She doesn’t write anything, but honestly, it bothers me. Would it be bad to block her, or should I just ignore it? Has anything like this ever happened to you?

I experienced a similar situation. Two years ago, my ex constantly messaged me, watched my stories. I felt uncomfortable, so I just blocked him. Honestly, that’s the easiest solution; otherwise, it can really mess with your head :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

I think just block them directly. There’s no need to even state that you’re uncomfortable. You’ve already gone your separate ways, so there’s no point in following each other on social media

I get how you feel. On one hand, you want to act like you don’t care, but on the other hand, every time you open a story, it really gets to you. It’s truly disturbing.

But why are you bothered by it? After all, just because they’re following you doesn’t mean they’re interfering with your life. Social media is public for everyone; I think you’re overreacting a bit.

In such situations, I can say that it’s important to assert your boundaries. If you feel like you’re constantly being watched, it can be psychologically exhausting. Muting or blocking may be the healthiest solution.

I’m writing again, friends; they’re not sending DMs or anything, just watching. But constantly feeling like I’m being watched is bothering me. I keep wondering, ‘why are they still following?’

So, are you checking his accounts? I mean, in a way, could you be as curious about his life as he is about you? :smiling_face_with_tear:

He probably can’t forget you or he hasn’t started a new relationship. Men usually don’t say things like this openly and continue to observe from a distance. He may not speak directly, but he could be keeping a ‘door ajar’ by staying aware of you :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I experienced the same thing; my ex kept checking my stories for 8 months after we broke up. One day, I couldn’t take it anymore and told him it made me uncomfortable. He said it had become a “habit,” but I had to block him. Don’t hesitate to set boundaries regarding what makes you uncomfortable.
