We have five months left on our lease with the landlord, but the guy calls every day saying my daughter is getting married and we need to move out. He’s literally lying, I know he’s doing this to increase the rent threefold. To be honest, there wasn’t a clause like that in the contract we signed, so I don’t know if I have a legal right or if I really have to move out.
Having to be called every day for five months really destroys a person’s peace of mind, and I know you’re sitting on pins and needles even at home, I swear.
