I was supposed to do it for the first time, but I got too scared and gave up.

So girls, my boyfriend and I thought we’d experience something last night, but I just froze up. I was so prepared, we talked about protection and everything, but when the moment came, I just burst into tears. The poor kid was shocked, so we couldn’t do anything. How am I going to overcome this fear? Honestly, I feel really tense.

The lock situation is actually completely a psychological barrier, meaning that even when talking about protection, your subconscious clearly hasn't been able to prepare you for the current tension. The outburst of crying is actually just a release of accumulated stress; it's a very normal reaction from your body.

You said we've discussed everything in detail about protection and stuff, but could it be those conversations made you take things too seriously and start to get tense? When the crying fit happened, did the child try to console you, or were they also frozen? I mean, what exactly was their reaction?
