Honestly, I was really hesitant to write here, but I can’t ask anyone. It’s only been two days since I got married, but after the situation I’m dealing with, I’m left with an incredible pain and burning sensation. I can’t tell my spouse anything so they won’t worry, but I’m really embarrassed to go to the doctor. I can’t tell if this is normal or if there’s something wrong.
I experienced the same thing. I also had honeymoon cystitis, and honestly, if that burning and pain lasts more than two days, you need to see a doctor. You could definitely have an infection.
So, does this burning sensation happen only when you urinate, or is there a constant throbbing? I mean, you mentioned you can’t tell your partner anything, but doesn’t it show when you’re walking or something? 
It’s really hard for a person to endure because of that state of avoidance, but that burning feeling doesn’t even let you settle down. I know it’s tough not to tell your partner, how are you managing with that pain for two days now, honestly?
