I'm short, should I follow the trend of wearing baggy clothes?

Boyum 1.56 and this year oversized, baggy clothes are incredibly fashionable, but they seem very risky for someone like me who is short. It looks like everyone on Instagram rocks them; should I give it a try or would they not suit me at all?

I’m also 1.58m tall, I bought an oversized sweatshirt last year. At first glance, I really liked it, but when I looked at the photo, I looked like a tree. I managed to save it a bit by pairing it with tighter things, but not everyone who sees me might say the same.

I get you, that “am I lost?” feeling can sometimes feel strange even when you look in the mirror. But if you choose the right piece, I think you can feel better about yourself. It’s not as simple as it is on Instagram; it requires a bit of effort.

As a man, I’ve noticed that most women think what’s fashionable is beautiful. But I would say, don’t spend a ton of money on something that doesn’t satisfy you. Look comfortable in your style, that’s enough.

You say it’s risky, but you can’t understand fashion without trying it out, right? I think you have a fear of losing your shape. So what if you get lost? The way to find yourself is through combinations. Why not be a little more open to trying?

Actually, oversized can be a bit tricky for shorter people. If you choose a loose top and combine it with a more fitted and straight bottom, you can maintain the proportions. For example, try it with high-waisted pants; it won’t cut off your height.

Guys, thanks for the suggestions. I’ve also noticed that I’m hesitant to wear the full outfit. I think I need a little support on how to piece it together

Everyone in the neighborhood pays a lot of attention to clothing; do you notice what you wear? If it’s too baggy, someone will usually comment on it. Regarding fashion, sometimes it doesn’t really help that much; I think you should pay attention to your height.

Now they said to wear tight fits under loose clothes, but that’s totally a cliché. Why is wearing a loose top with wide pants considered bad? Once you get used to it, it looks pretty cool too. Is it right to judge without trying it on? :face_exhaling:

In conclusion, both height and style factors should be in balance. Fashion also has a personal adaptation. If you’re not quite sure in front of the mirror, tricks like a belt/accessory that highlights the waist can be helpful.
