I’ve actually been in a nice relationship for a while now, and everything is going well, but whenever the topic of future plans comes up, I feel like an ox is sitting on my chest. I wonder if I’m doing something wrong or if I’m just overreacting; I don’t know, but suddenly I feel like just dropping everything and leaving. Is this a kind of attachment issue, or is it just anxiety? I can’t figure it out. Are there others who feel like me, or do I really not love anymore? I’ve started to question everything.

3The moment future plans come up, that inner ox is literally surfacing to your throat, right? It’s so bad. Even questioning whether I dislike it is already a part of that anxiety, I think ![]()
I experienced the same thing; I also ended up with an avoidant attachment style. Whenever the urge to leave everything behind came up, I would immediately cut it off by thinking, “I guess I don’t really love them.” Honestly, I overcame that situation through therapy.
As soon as the subject of future plans comes up, the bull inside you literally comes up to your throat, right? It’s really bad. Questioning whether you even like it is already a part of that anxiety, in my opinion.
