Can I get through the entire winter with just one pair of jeans?

I don’t want to spend too much money on clothes, but I also don’t want to fall out of fashion. I’m thinking about getting a basic pair of jeans that I can use with every style, but would that be too minimalist? What do you think, will it work or will I get stuck somewhere? If you have any outfit ideas, I’m all ears!

I tried something similar for a while. I actually managed with just one pair of jeans for 3-4 months. But honestly, if it’s washed too often, the shape gets a bit off. Also, you need to combine it with different colored tops so that it doesn’t look like you’re wearing the same outfit.

I always prefer basic jeans because they go with everything. But your choice of shoes is really important. Do you go for sneakers or boots? You need to be sure that they work with the jeans

So how long do you plan to wear those jeans? I mean, for a week or two? Because if you wear them continuously, they might get dirty faster. That also comes with a cost, frequent washing and all.

You should ask yourself what is expected of me as a woman here. No one can criticize you for spending the whole winter in a single pair of jeans. No, in fashion, the effort is yours, the decision is yours. If someone is going to judge you for being a minimalist or whatever, the problem is with them.

As a designer, I would say that choosing a single pair of jeans is not minimalist; it actually makes sense. However, you need to pay attention to the tone and cut. Dark, slim-fit jeans are more versatile. You can provide variety by layering different fabrics and textures on top.

Update: A few people mentioned washing frequency, and I’ve thought about it… Yes, it seems like at least one wash a week would be needed. I had figured we wouldn’t sweat much in winter, but I’m worried because the dirt shows up on jeans right away.

It honestly seemed a bit difficult to me. Because at some point, it inevitably feels like that denim will tear. Besides, the weather is different. For example, are you going to wear something thin in the cold? Shouldn’t you have some boots or something beneath it?

Dude, there was a girl in my circle who always wore the same jeans, but nobody noticed. The only thing we noticed was how well she matched with the same boots all the time. So people don’t notice as much as we think. But still, you should mix it up with a colorful scarf every now and then.

What kind of logic is this? If you want to live with just one pair of jeans, you’ll get minimal results with minimal effort. And when you think about getting through the winter, why is there always a combination problem? First of all, winter is just dirty mud, and the bottom of your jeans will be a mess.
