I'm in a food crisis; should I risk gaining weight?

I’ve been eating like crazy due to hunger crises lately, but I feel really bad afterward. I want to go back to my old routine, but I can’t seem to manage it. I don’t know what to do; should I consult a doctor, or would it be okay to try to control it myself?

Honestly, these food crises can be a nerve-related thing. I went through a phase where I ate sweets like crazy due to work stress, then I went to a dietitian, but they mostly recommended a psychologist. If you want, you should check it out; don’t make yourself feel any worse for no reason.

My girl, you can’t just let yourself go like this. I mean, I also have crises sometimes, but I’ve organized my breakfast routine morning and evening, and I do snacks too. You should try to have a little control as well. Once you establish a routine, it gets better.

If you ask me, try showing a bit of willpower before seeking a doctor or something. We’ve all been through things, but reaching out to a specialist right away feels like taking the easy way out. Everyone deals with these things; pull yourself together.

What you’re talking about is really a hunger crisis or a habit, it needs to be understood. You can start with a dietitian, they will provide guidance. So if the issue is psychological, they’ll send you to a psychologist anyway.

Some of you mentioned a dietitian, but honestly, I’ve never been before. What I call a crisis usually happens in the evening when I sit down and eat junk food or meals for hours. I don’t know if it could be psychological, but I think I’ll try talking to an expert.
