I’ve been seeing that low-rise pants have become fashionable lately, but I’ve always found high-waisted ones more comfortable. They hug the waist and smooth out the belly, but low-rise does look different. I wonder if I’m falling behind. Do you think I should try low-rise to fit in with the trend, or should I stick with what looks good on me? Can you share your experience?

7I don’t think there’s anything better than high-waisted styles. They both shape you as you said and add a more elegant look. The low-rise trend keeps coming and going anyway, so there’s no need to adapt to it right away. If you want to try it, do so without spending too much money, you might not like it.
I haven’t been able to wear low-rise for years; it always bothers me. But you can’t know without trying; maybe you’ll find a model that fits your physique well. But if you can’t be comfortable, I would say don’t get dragged into the trend.
Honestly, you seem a bit too fixated on it. Fashion is something everyone adapts to their own style anyway; you don’t have to follow a trend just because low-rise is in. And why should wearing something you think looks good be considered falling behind?
Actually, each model has different advantages depending on body type. High waisted pants create the illusion of a longer leg and a slimmer waist. Low waisted pants, on the other hand, emphasize the hip lines and the curve of the waist. However, the right fit is very important with low waisted; if it’s a bit too loose or tight, it won’t look good at all.
Let me add this too: I’m someone who walks a lot in daily life, so comfort is important to me. But I sometimes like the vibe of low-rise as well. So the point I’m stuck at is this: comfort or style… ![]()
I think the return of low-rise fashion is entirely a game for brands to be able to sell their old model clothing again. Look at the old collections, similar things are making a comeback. Don’t feel like you’re “behind the times” for no reason, I think.
Sure, trends and all that, but I really don’t think that style of low-rise pants looks good at all. Your waist expands, and it becomes a problem when sitting and standing. Plus, things like this
