I got home from work today and I was literally hit by a hunger crisis. I finished almost all of my snacks in just an hour. You know, this is the tough part of dieting. How can I get past this? It’s like the urge to eat never goes away.
I’ve been through that once too. I literally couldn’t get back to normal for 2 weeks because once I started, I ate everything in the cupboard. Then I couldn’t stop at dinner either. Hunger crises are tough, diet was just a lie ![]()
Did you start with just a slice of chocolate, or did you dive straight into the chocolate without eating? I think things like this usually relate to carbohydrates.
@makarnaoncesi there’s no work, I’m back to being hungry, I started with chocolate but then I ate whatever I could find. I mean, I don’t know if it would have been different if I had started off full.
I think the way to prevent the hunger crisis is through balanced meals. If you’re coming home from work hungry, maybe you can plan your day and bring some snacks with you. Chocolate can spike your blood sugar at first, but it doesn’t serve as a solution for all meals.
@benbisorayim what you’re talking about is tough under these circumstances. not everyone can make balanced plans every minute. what should we do if we fall into that hunger crisis, is this our punishment? ![]()
Everyone has written something, but the main part of the question is how can I ease this feeling? If there is a practical way to stop it, just let me know. Is it done by nibbling on carrots or something?
I think it’s inevitable. Diets always end up like this.
