You say it’s your friend’s son and all, but when exactly did this pressure get serious? Did it just start suddenly or has it always been like this?

I went through the same thing; I was literally hearing the name of a relative’s child every evening. Honestly, I found the solution in going to the library or something after work and coming home late, but that’s how they understood the priority of my career.
