My girlfriend hasn’t responded to my messages for a week, there seems to be no issue, but I’m definitely feeling something. We used to talk all the time, why is she so distant now? I have a sense of unease; is there someone else in her life? I’ve wondered about it, but maybe I’m just overthinking things?
this is just like ghosting. it happened to me too, they didn’t message for weeks, then when I asked out of the blue, they acted completely indifferent. I think you should just ask directly what’s going on.
I think they might have started seeing someone. If someone who is in constant communication suddenly behaves like this, there’s a fifty percent chance that there is someone else in their life.
Look, I gotta tell you, you’re overthinking this a bit. Why jump to conclusions like this in just a week? I mean, people sometimes retreat into their own space; it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re thinking something bad.
So, did you clearly ask something or express that you felt something without being accusatory? Maybe they aren’t even aware.
@uykuarasi actually, I asked if something happened, but he just said ‘no, nothing is wrong.’ Still, I don’t feel at ease. This wouldn’t normally happen with us.
@soncaykaldi that’s silly, don’t jump to conclusions so quickly. Does the fact that everyone is keeping their distance necessarily mean it has to do with someone else? They might also have other issues.
I think you should speak openly, or share your views and feelings. It won’t be resolved by simply waiting like this.
