Why did my skin turn out this way? Should I buy a new cream or see a doctor?

Recently, I’ve developed some strange bumps on my face. At first, I didn’t pay much attention to it, but no matter what I do, they won’t go away. Should I get a new face product, or should I see a dermatologist? The funny thing is, my friend said, “Don’t stress, it will go away,” but I just can’t relax. What if this is something serious?

I think you should see a dermatologist. The bumps you mentioned could be an allergic reaction or the beginning of acne. It’s hard to figure it out on your own; a specialist will make the most accurate diagnosis.

See a dermatologist directly because if you buy something from the pharmacy, you’ll just be trying things randomly. They’ll ask what you’ve used at the first appointment, so if possible, bring those products with you. Expect very standard questions like, ‘Has your diet changed? Have you been under stress?’. Be prepared.

Did you have any issues on your face before you started using these products? Maybe your skin reacted to them. How many days has it been since you noticed this?

I think your friend told you not to stress, but they seem to be hiding something. You know how sometimes people know something but don’t speak very clearly? Maybe something similar happened to someone. Pressure them a bit and ask again :slightly_smiling_face:

Honey, your mom has made a very sensible point. What did you put on your face? It could be because of that. If she were my daughter, I would first stop using everything she’s been using. If it doesn’t get better after that, I would make an appointment with a doctor.

There’s one thing though, if you’ve used something new, why are you still going? Have you checked if it’s suitable for your skin? Maybe the way you’re using it, the duration, and so on are wrong. You should ask yourself this first :slightly_smiling_face:

A product that is not suitable for your skin type can cause such reactions. Generally, atopic skin can experience issues with new products. You might also consider getting an allergy test when you visit the dermatologist. That way, you can make a more informed choice about your product selection.

Update: Actually, there’s not much change in the products I use, but these bumps have been around for about 2 weeks. It never used to be like this before. I have been a bit stressed lately, and my eating habits have also become very irregular.

A friend said, “don’t stress out,” really interesting diagnosis… It sounded like someone who has experienced skin issues. I swear I get annoyed by the phrase “it must be due to stress,” come on, if you’re not stressing out and your skin is improving, let us know too :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:
