I’m at the point where I seriously hate myself, girls. I’m doing great all day, eating healthy and all that, but when it hits midnight, it’s like someone else takes over me. Last night, I woke up from my sleep and ate whatever I could find in the kitchen; honestly, just remembering it in the morning brings me down. How can I get out of this situation? Give me some advice; I really don’t understand how my willpower can be this weak.
You’ve said you eat very healthily during the day, but are you keeping your portions too small? I mean, is that why your body is alarmed at night? What do you usually eat for dinner, and are you getting enough protein and stuff?
If you’re getting up from sleep and heading to the kitchen, I don’t think it’s just a matter of willpower; it might actually be insulin resistance or something. I think you should get your blood levels checked because waking up with that much appetite at that hour is not normal; it’s a hunger crisis.
