Has social media criticism led to food addiction?

My friend’s focus on their diet lately has influenced me as well. They continuously share diet tips on social media, but I can’t resist food. I always snack on something in the evenings and I can’t think about how this affects me. On one hand, I want to support them, but this is completely disrupting my eating habits.

So you’re saying that you’re breaking their habits while trying to support them? :woman_shrugging:

I also tried to just eat coffee and yogurt because a friend of mine started a diet, but on the evening of the 3rd day, I ended up devouring pizza. Everyone’s path is different.

Is your friend constantly talking and expecting you to diet too? Or do you find yourself influenced just by sharing?

@yazipsildim no, they don’t ask me for anything directly, but they keep showing in stories, writing things like after meals. I can’t help but be affected.

You say everyone has a different path before coffee, but I think it would be better if your friend didn’t put so much pressure. Constant sharing inevitably creates stress.

If you feel like you’re hurting yourself, it’s essential to talk to someone. You can consult a dietitian or a health professional to get clear advice tailored to your routine. But I would suggest not to take your friend’s comments too personally.

The title has changed a bit, what does flirting have to do with it? This seems more like a situation of social pressure :woman_shrugging:
