The hairdresser cut my hair too short, I literally cried

Yesterday, I went to the hairdresser just to get the ends of my hair trimmed. However, the hairdresser said, “this hair won’t work, I need to cut it a bit shorter,” and the result is a bob that’s above my shoulders! I didn’t recognize myself when I looked in the mirror. What can we do in situations like this? Should I just wait for it to grow back? Or is there another solution?

I experienced the same thing, I thought about getting it cut from the ends, but the woman gave me a bob cut. At first, I was shocked, but then I tried a couple of accessories and ended up really liking it. Maybe you could shape it and get used to it too?

But didn’t you ever say stop? For example, I’m always waiting at the beginning, asking him to measure it with his hand saying, ‘this much is certain.’ How did you trust him and let him go?

@merve_89 I actually noticed that you took too much, but she said, ‘you can’t leave it like this, otherwise it looks worse,’ and she totally convinced me.

@aylin23 yeah, but I think we’re just increasing the pleasure of hairdressers by getting used to these things. They think that whatever we do will please them. We need to draw a line.

To avoid situations like this, be sure to show your hairstylist a clear photo or measurement of what you want. Generally, if a hairstylist says they are fixing something, they may have concerns about symmetry and split ends. However, the client’s consent is essential, and that must not be forgotten.

I think that hairdresser accidentally cut too much, and then tried to fix it like it was no big deal. Because going from shoulder-length to a bob all of a sudden is just ridiculous.
