The hairdresser cut my hair and I didn't recognize myself... How can I fix it?

I went to the hairdresser today, I said ā€œjust a trimā€ but they literally cut my hair really short. When I looked in the mirror, I was in shock, this isn’t me! I’m trying to get used to it, but my confidence has been completely shattered. What products or methods can I use to make my hair grow faster? Or do you think there’s a way to make peace with having short hair?

Yeah, I really don’t get why they don’t understand when you say ā€œjust take the tip.ā€ I experienced the same thing last year. I used hair oil for a while, and coconut oil in particular seems to work well. I was applying it by massaging 2-3 times a week, and it seemed to speed things up a bit.

But I want to ask something. You mentioned going into shock when looking in the mirror, but did you talk about the length at all before the cut? Some hairdressers just cut according to their own judgment after you said ā€˜just the ends’ without asking for a specific measurement. Did you clarify that?

Products containing keratin (such as serum or mask) provide faster growth and strength for fine hair. However, there is no definitive way to see the results; they affect each hair differently. Moreover, growth speed is also influenced by genetics, regular nutrition, and sleep. If you’re really concerned, consult a dermatologist.

Let me add that we actually hadn’t talked explicitly about his height and such. He had started right away with an attitude like he wanted to try and see. I did say ā€˜a little bit’ but I didn’t ask in detail, that’s true. But I still feel bad about it

If my daughter were mine, I would seriously say I wouldn’t take her to that hairdresser again. Their job is not to listen to the customer and act according to their own ideas. Anyway, for now, you can get attention with hair bands or stylish hair accessories. Don’t feel bad; short hair actually has its own vibe.
