The hairdresser really ruined my hair

I went to the hairdresser and said, ‘Just cut this much!’ but suddenly they cut 10 cm. Now my hair is short and looks totally different. I even fear looking in the mirror when I go outside; I miss how it used to be. I don’t think short hair really suits my style, what should I do?

hairdressers always say they want to shape eyebrows but end up ruining the eyes :face_with_peeking_eye:

It happened to me once too; a hairdresser turned my hair into a complete mess saying, “I will add layers.” All I could do was wait for it to grow out :slightly_smiling_face:

But didn’t you notice right away when you were cut by 10 cm? If you had reacted immediately to the hairdresser, maybe they could have fixed it.

Since you can’t put the hair you cut back, at least you can try something that suits your new style right now. Consult another hairdresser; they can fix it with a less traumatic change.

but you could specify a more precise measurement instead of saying ‘so much’. I think that’s where the confusion always comes from.

@yazipsildim I actually noticed it, but I was so shocked at that moment that I didn’t know what to say. I thought something like, ‘It’s already short, it won’t get better.’

@pazardandondum but I think most of the mistake is at the hairdresser. Even if the customer says a certain amount, the professional hairdresser should do the job without exaggerating.

try different tying methods for a while, play around with the clips. There are many modifications for short hair. It will grow over time anyway.
