My fiancé is hiding packages in the kitchen at night

There are two months left until the wedding, and I’m trying to get a bit organized, but it feels like there’s another movie playing at home. My fiancé told me last night, “You go to bed, I’m busy with a game,” and when I went to collect the trash in the morning, I found crumpled chip bags, chocolate wrappers, and even napkins with bread crumbs. The other night, I got up to get a glass of water, and I saw him standing in the kitchen eating pasta with ketchup, and he told me, “Don’t tell your mom, she’ll start asking if I’ve gained weight again.” I look at this from a health and honesty perspective, while he thinks, “If we nitpick everything, there won’t be any flavor left in the marriage.” I’m not sure if the issue is about food or communication.
