I’ve been going through an extremely stressful period for the last few months, and literally half of my hair is gone. I’m afraid to brush it after showering because hair ends up everywhere. Honestly, I’ve started to feel really ugly; I even wear a hat when I go out. Is there a solution to this, or am I going to end up bald? My morale is really low.

3You should definitely make an appointment with a dermatologist tomorrow and get a blood test. It’s not normal to shed that much in the shower; your ferritin levels are probably low anyway, so don’t suffocate your hair unnecessarily by wearing a hat.
Once the stress is over, the hair loss stops abruptly, I swear you won’t go bald. I had the same thing happen to me for a while; I had hair everywhere, but it all grew back after some time.
I think the first thing you should do tomorrow is make an appointment with a blood specialist and get a blood test done. It’s not normal to lose that much hair in the shower; your ferritin levels are probably already low. Don’t just wear a hat and suffocate your hair for no reason.
