it happened to me too, I just asked what was going on. At first, they dodged it and said it was a mistake, but then I found out they were still talking to the ex. I think you should just ask openly too.

@kahvebitmeden it actually happened for the second time, but I didn’t bring it up the first time; I’m still afraid they’ll make a ridiculous excuse.
@biseydiycem but does everyone really think that just because they’re talking to their ex? Maybe they were just joking, they might not be implying anything at all.
In such situations, the best thing to do is to ask directly, as staying silent is no good since it doesn’t help you understand how they feel — you won’t get a clear answer 
Aren’t you exaggerating the title a bit? It sounds like heart palpitations are a reason for world war.
