We went out for dinner and everything was great, but while ordering, the waiter literally said to me, “Aren’t you going a bit overboard lately?” I was mortified. When we got home, I joked about how he was exaggerating, but it really hit me; I don’t even want to look in the mirror anymore, my self-confidence has dropped to zero.
Yeah, guys sometimes just can’t read the room, I mean they literally mess it up while trying to make a joke. It’s probably not out of malice, but in that moment they did something silly in front of the waiter, but I don’t think they meant it badly, honestly.
