Honestly, the woman who will be my aunt is literally going to ruin our home. She saw me having coffee with a friend outside and went and told my dad a different story. I mean, the guy trusted me completely, but now he has started checking my phone and stuff. I really don’t understand why someone would do such a bad thing to their own niece. It’s very sad to have things like this happen in the family; it’s like our peace has been disturbed out of nowhere.
I swear, aunts generally love to exaggerate everything, so she probably thinks she’s doing it to protect you or something. If your dad doesn’t know that friend you had coffee with, he definitely misunderstood it; he’s probably made up stories in his head.
I think you should directly invite that friend you had coffee with over to meet your dad, just so he can see for himself. Don’t hide your phone either, leave it open next to your dad so all suspicions are completely wiped out.
